"Upon his bench the pieces lay
As if an artwork on display
Of gears and hands
And wire-thin bands
That glisten in dim candle play." -Janice T., Clockwork[love that poem, dont know why, im not steampunk]

Green

As emeralds

Grass seen thru a lens

Light

Golden beams bathe with fyre

Grass seen thru a lens

Water

Sweet as honey

Grass seen thru a lens

Morning

New day restored

Grass seen thru a lens

Grass seen thru a lens

Dew on grass bathed in gold

Grass seen thru a lens

Purple

Deep as aymethist

Gems seen thru a lens

Sunlight

The skyes fyre pale in early morn’

Gems seen thru a lens

Droplet

The earths light drizzle upward

Gems seen thru a lens

Leaves

The ground upholding these

Gems seen thru a lens

Gems seen thru a lens

A single jam bloom

Gems seen thru a lens

Brown

Naked arms ever streching to be free

Strength seen thru a lens

Skye

Hidden by many pines

Strength seen thru a lens

Soil

Black earth giving lyfe

Strength seen thru a lens

Strength seen thru a lens

Tree branches under dew

Strength seen thru a lens

Spiral

Liquid radiating outward

Fern seen thru a lens

Peace

Ever swirling inwards

Fern seen thru a lens

Snowflake

Is the best way to describe this

Fern seen thru a lens

Fern seen thru a lens

A young fiddlehead burdened with droplets

Fern seen thru a lens

Wilds

Ferocity softened by this display of dew

Nature seen thru a lens

Freedom

Bees buzzing amongst bubbles of water in air

Nature seen thru a lens

Morning

Sends beauty incarnate in the water

Nature seen thru a lens

Nature seen thru a lens

plants of all kinds as on under dew

Nature seen thru a lens

The author's comments:

how odd. this is the first real poem i wrote. huh, i hated poems so deeply at the time.

it feels almost like digging up an old book and finding it horribly dusty.

The universe must be a teenage girl. So much darkness, so many stars.

Wow, I love the repetition and cadence and details of this poem (I know, I sound like an English teacher, but still...)
