With eyes so blue,
he saw right through,
the facade of composed indifference.
He exposed her weakness,
the false resilience,
tore down her walls of protection.
Saw he instead for who she was,
A girl in the world,
lost,
and desperate to be loved.
It's okay to let someone in and risk your heart. Being alone is only a defense in the short term, because after a certain point you'll desperately wish for someone by your side and by that time, it might be too late. So don't be afraid to put your self on the line and chance it all. You never know when it could all be worth it.
