Phases of Life
I remember a simpler time
A time when I climbed trees
Rode my bike around the block
And hanged out with my friends daily
But that was gone too quick
Which brought in a new time of
Sports and flexibility
New places new people and new friends
New experiences I didn’t like
Which flew by slower than the first
Which then brought on
Laughter with friends
Struggles with family
Loses of habits
And a stronger grip of my biggest habit
Then it stop with a disease
Which brought nothing but
Endless sleep and playing
Which gave me a new way of living
That felt like it took longer but faster
Then the first and second
Which brings me close to my end
My last year of begin taking care of
I'm scared for what comes next
But I will always have my Memories
