Crawdad fishing

¨Hey, I found a big one over here John¨
he splashed over to me.
That is a big one he shreked.
I bent down to grab it as it swims backwards
to lose me in the dirt.
We would spend hours at the creek
catching as many crawdads as we could.
These were the best days of summer.
