Four Seasons
Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter,
A wheel that keeps on rolling.
Spring,
Locked on my balcony,
Birds chirping, flowers waking, bees buzzing.
Summer,
Awaiting you in the sunshine
Frogs hopping, seesaw swaying, cats prowling.
Autumn,
Embraced in sheets of golden leaves,
Wind whirling, fruits hanging, school starting.
Winter,
Dancing with fluffy, white snowflakes,
Rivers icing, blizzard howling, Santa ho-ho-ho-ing.
When ice melts and sprouts arrive,
It all starts over for a new year.

The poem is to express the author’s feelings towards the ongoing lockdown amid this eventful spring. The cycling of four seasons represents his hope to reunite with friends and teachers in the coming seasons and the community spirit that, no matter how cold the winter is, spring will come.
