Easel and the stone

I pride myself in my muscles
A statue of stone I had built
Chiseled out of my marbled body
A monument of devotion to wellness
I was the easel and the marble
There was pain and pressure
I would crack or become dull
But they never lasted
What began as a heap of stone
Is now a vigil of strength
