Don't quote me on this

The gray of indecision sets in

I could write about blue, endless suffocating blue

But that is too much

I could write about green, seen through a window

But I would be left uninspired

I could write about red, of passion and anger

But it would be fake

So I write about gray, pure monotonous gray

It is the most true I can be

"So I write about gray, pure monotonous gray It is the most true I can be" has got to be one of my favorite lines I've ever read. Your poem is very thought provoking.
