I am a fool, chasing what cannot be caught.
I think I'm in love with a flower. Yeah, it’s strange, I suppose.
She could be a daisy, a lily, or maybe a primrose.
She’s alone in a meadow of petals. She’s classic, and I’m heavy metal.
She feels unloved, but I want to make it known, I want to be hers, so she no longer feels alone.
It’s crazy, impossible, it will never happen. I say “I love you” and wait for a reaction. Waiting for a response, I say her name. She says she loves me, but her definition of love is not the same…
As mine, god, she’s so divine, she’s constantly on my mind, oh, if I could just find…
A way to let her go.
