You are the sunlight coming through the clouds on a rainy

When the sun does seem to exist anymore

You are the cool breeze on a hot August day,

With the sun warming your skin

You are always there for me no matter what,

On my good days and on my bad

You never stop cheering me on

You pick me up when I fall,

But you push me to continue

Thank you

Otherwise I would have given up long ago

You help me fight my battles,

You are always by my side,

Even when your mad

You always have my best interest in mind

You are like a rose,

Beautiful but there is reminder of the pain the world causes

The beauty of the rose hides the thorns,

Just like you try to protect me from the pain of the world,

it still finds it way to me

But you are there to listen

And give me a shoulder to lean on

You give me advice even when I don’t want to hear it,

When I think I know what it best

Even though deep down I know I don’t

You are like the summer sunsets,

Full of color and beauty,

One of God’s paintings

His reminder that there is still good in the world,

To me you are a walking reminder of that

You are a reminder that good things still exist

That true endless love is the love given to us by our parents

You love me no matter what

Which is why you push me through the hard days,

You know that those days are only temporary

The good outweighs the bad

Even when it doesn’t seem possible

That’s why you're there to make the impossible seem possible
