The bright red kayak sat in the middle of the water

The orange and yellow leaves from the trees reflected on the lake

The air was thick and ominous

I walked to the edge of the decrepit pier

I felt a looming presence that stretched beyond the thick colorful forest

I began to notice everything that felt wrong

The water water wasn't clear

The water was thick and murky 

The waters life seemed still even though I knew there were fish in it even if i couldn't see it

I couldn't see it

I couldn't see what was wrong

I could only feel it

I could feel something was wrong when the wind blew past my face leaving chills up my spine
