Two
Two hands in one
Two pairs of eyes watching the sky
The wind blew through their hair.
The clouds seemed soft, reachable from the hill.
“I love you,” he said. “So much I could die.”
Love? She pondered on that in her mind.
Two pairs of eyes stared into each other.
Clinging to each other for warmth.
This was heaven, right?
It was home.
