Strife
In the depths of sorrow, where shadows dwell,
A heart once whole, now fractured, can tell.
Of love's demise and friendships undone,
In pain, where strife has begun.
Once entwined souls, like flowers in bloom,
We danced in joy, dispelling all gloom.
But fate's cruel hand, with merciless might,
Brought separation, casting us into night.
The break of dawn whispered tales of goodbye,
Tearing asunder the bond we held high.
A love that once burned, now cold and estranged,
Leaving scars on hearts, forever unchanged.
Friends once true, with smiles on their lips,
Now turned away, like forgotten ships.
The laughter we shared, now echoes in vain,
Lost in the abyss of our memories' terrain.
