Unstable 

The start of January, as cold as can be. 

Not a promising start to a new year.

The coming of spring doesn’t show till May, the feel doesn't last.

Scorching summer heat is brought on by June, not a sign of rain for weeks.

Mid-August reaches out before we can see it coming with cold mornings 

That gives us whiplash. Just for September to bring on heat like no other.

Then a week of calm, leaves of green now show the colors of autumn,

Late October takes its toll with winds that strip all the beauty away.

The enjoyment of the cool weather doesn't last long before the bitter cold. 

Snow falls before December, piles of it with nowhere to go.
