Life didn't go as planned,
A winding road, a twisted land.
The path we chose, so full of strife,
The twists and turns, a constant life.
We learned to adapt, to bend and sway,
To find our way through each new day.
The detours, the setbacks, the pain,
Taught us to cherish life's simple gain.
So though life didn't go as planned,
We'll take the lessons we've gained.
And find the beauty in the strife,
In this life we've lived, this life we've gained.

Hello! My name is Siah Giji, and I am a freshman in high school. English is not my first language, and I am proud of how far I have come in my writing journey.
