Red doesn't always mean love.
Yes when it's rose petals and your pretty lips,
though,
know why you won't put on sunscreen.
And nor do I want to,
So I'll slather you in sunscreen even though you object.
Because I love to feel your beautiful body,
your arms,
your legs,
your adorable face in my hands,
but also because you don't deserve any red on those shoulders.
And here we are to the point where we've learned not to make ourselves hurt, however,
we have not learned to prevent it.
Because the sun,
Not kissing but instead frying our skin, is our treat to the past.
But we must learn,
