The Gloomy Night

Dawn has fallen
Darkness engulfs the daylight
Raindrops clatter against the rooftops
And not a sound can be heard throughout the night
No creature is stirring
Nor tree or bush or bear
But the only thing I can hear
Is the loud cry of my despair
Alone and cold I forage through the night
Not a single hope or light
Because everything out here is evil
And I guess I might...
Not even am alive right now
