For Those
I speak for those who couldn't
For their tongues have been ripped from their souls
I sing for those who were forbidden to
For I believe their voices join mine in harmony
I dance for those who wanted too
For their legs were broken and that will was gone
I stand for those who have fallen
For their own knees gave on them from each beat they received
I cry for those who tried
For their efforts that they didn't even know was worth anything
I live for those who died
For life meant so much more to them
I dream for those who were bound
For their lives were forever selfless
I reach for the stars for the ones who tried but were to far
I do all this for them, for everyone, for humankind
It takes more than one, and It all starts here
