Wanderlust
Sometimes I want to run away
Drive out to a different state
Change my hair and change my name
To something different, something strange
With nothing but a dented truck
And whatever else I pick up
To just exist somewhere else
Anywhere else
Anywhere but the prison
I made for myself
I want to run, to drive, to wander
To wonder what lies
Beyond the horizon
And let myself be unknown
Until I make the drive back home.

Written after the first four lines came to me in the middle of the night. Summertime always gets me in the mood to wander.
