Empty
Empty.
Alone.
Everyone knows this pain—
the feeling of no one being there
when you need them the most.
Even when they say you’re not alone,
even when they’re right there,
it still feels like silence is louder than them.
You could speak—
you could say the word—
but the words taste like nothing.
Like dust.
You feel like you're not worth it.
Because that voice in your head whispers:
You’re nothing.
No one cares.
They’re only here because they feel bad.
If you didn’t spill your pain, they wouldn’t even look at you.
So you go quiet again.
You sink.
You disappear, even when you're still in the room.
And the emptiness becomes home.
