Motions of Life
We all go through the motions of life
 In the hands of time
 It can creep slowly
 Or just fly by

Grasp it with everything you can give
 No one can stop you
 As long as you fight
You can't let life slip away

 Live your life
Because some won't get the chance
Some parents won't know their children
Someone else's baby going off to war

Sometimes you have to push away fear
 To embrace life
You may have to battle the dark
So you can see the light

No matter how hard it is to move
 Live in the present
 But remember the past
 Stop thinking about the future

 For once take it slow
Concentrate on the wind on your face
The smell that fills the air
How the grass feels under your feet

 Life might buck you around
 So buckle up
And hang on for the ride

... You might not always get your second chance
