Once...

Once
in a world of
complacent people
parents and friends
they found y
wonderful quiet
wandering mind
once
they asked me
to sing
lift my voice
translucent lies
in the song
of notes
clear
the sky
or cloud it
up?
once
confusing faces
swirling
in a sea of green
skulls peeking
protruding secrets
from the grave
urging me forward
once
i danced
amid the dead
and left them all alone
watching for the strangers as
the world went
topsy turvy
and i wondered
as my feet
flit the ground
Now
am i dead?
