Bliss may hide from musing so
The truths we all may never know
The pleasures of a life fulfilled
Prove null before the holes we’ve built
To fall in love is to fall without a parachute,
It’s lust and doubt
A blessing and impending curse
The sip between a lifetime’s thirst
The peace before you understand
An artist with a broken hand
Is just as lost as those who’ve found
Their comfort buried underground
Will realization ever come?
The irony of growing up
Paradoxical anticipation
Gaining knowledge, losing reason
When one is an excess, to minimize
Would seem a shame to hazy eyes
But vision blurred and knowledge feigned
Progress is loss, and loss is gain
The closing in is closing minds
The answers we’re too slow to find
We substitute with all we can
Chasing an oasis since time began
So where to dwell? When nothing’s sure
The dark to pass, the stress endured
The time between, from start to end
May bliss come show its face again

I realize the rhyme pattern is annoying. I agree fully. Once started, I didn't have the heart to change it.
