"Inside us all, patiently waiting, is a tiny little adventurous bird"

Can you look me in the eyes,
Without blinking?

Can you talk to me,
Without speaking?

Can you cut the tension,
That seems too thick to slice through?

So many questions,
What will you do?

Don’t blink,
Study my face.

Every wrinkle and curve,
Use your finger to trace.

The tension recedes,
See?, it’s just me.

Now relax because,
This is how it should be.

This is a lovely poem, but I think that if you took 'thourgh' away from the end of the third verse it would flow so much better. I also love 'Who Knew Love Was A Thief', you're very talented.
