Painful Sercets

His words echo in her mind,
her painful thoughts that aren't left behind.
Blood rushing though her veins,
impulses make it hard to stay sain.
Eyes fulled with pain and regret,
the only thing that helps is her cigarette.
Shaky hands formed by memories,
those secrets only kept in her diaries.
She tells the things she has remembered,
but that is not until late December.
