Purple Clouds
September 25, 2009
And my thoughts turn into purple clouds
That fill the air with thoughts of doubt,
And I look to, I look to the stars.
I see they’re not so very far
Away as they appeared to be,
Oh so often in my dreams.
I still believe in hope,
And I know there’s love
In the gleams
Of the bright sunlight
That drown over me
On a sunny, September day.
And I look to; I look to the sun now
And the purple clouds
Have faded away.
