Our hands intertwined
Me, completely lost in him
He completely lost in me
His golden hair in the sun
Mine waving blissfully in the wind
Smiles genuinely worn on our faces
The feel of his rugged shirt
Against my chest as we hug
“The cutest couple” they whisper in jealousy
He told me our love was forever
It ended yesterday.
