when you look in the mirror what do you see
distrust or liability
shattered dreams formed by broken hearts
a spark of hope in her eyes
or another fake, a lie
living with pain
or some god forsaken game
a pretty smile, bright complexion
does she draw your attention
do her small hands tremble, shake
or does she make you believe in love
something given by an angel above
while the angel of death
clasps his mighty hands around her neck
never will he let her forget
the secrets of dark regret.
