"Bound"

Verbal ropes
Diminished strength
Eyes of loving deceit
She waits for you

You tease her
Taunt her
Then proclaim your love
Caress her ears with honey

Empty promises
Diminishing hope
Release her
Or keep her
But please
Stop hurting her
She's dying

This poem sort of goes along with my other poem "Blind Obsession". That same woman who fell in love with the man is falling apart inside. He is keeping her close, but far enough away that it's torture for her. He tells her he loves her, but then goes and dates someone else. She can't breakaway, and it's killing her.

Wow. This is, so descriptive. And it sounds like me in a way. Great job!
