Mile A Minute

My heart beats all the time
A mile a minute
I think of the future all the time
A mile a minute
Haven’t decided what to do….
Things are all a blur in my mind
A confused little gurl
Hears words…. “slow down”
Decide not to listen
Heart goes a mile a minute
Try to think of the positive,
Nothing makes me feel good anymore
Hope to find happiness soon
Or else…my heart will always go….
A mile a minute
