Time To Call Her Own
She sits on the dock, glares at the summer sunset in the warm summer breeze,
She listens to the country winds blowing through tall trees.
She realizes….
Why waste the treasure of summer, it’s a time to be together,
Time to make memories as delicate as blue bird feathers.
She thinks to herself…
Holds a single leaf in her hand,
We all need to make the most of time before more start to land.
She leans towards ocean waves,
Glares at the setting sun in this warm summer breeze noticing that times suspended.
