when i look into your eyes
i wonder
who are you?
these things that you say
do you mean them?
your liquid brown eyes
look soft, but
on moh’s scale of hardness
how hard is your outer layer?
scratched by a fingernail
or off the charts,
and if i had a diamond
could I scratch the surface?
