Why are people sad?
It's not something that an individual can answer
Some say it's the hormones in your body
Some might say it has to do with DNA
But what if the people we associate with everyday was the reason?
Ever thought about that?
If every once in a while you had someone come up to you
And say wow you look great today
Wouldn't it make your day so much better?
But it doesn't usually work like that
There's always something that has to ruin your day
Whether it be an ex girlfriend
Or if it's just the annoying freshman in your last hour
Something always has to go wrong
Most of the time it is somebody else putting you down
Maybe it's the girl that you like that is too busy to give you a chance
Maybe it's the girl that you thought was your best friend
But she does something to you and you can't even look at her
She tries talking to you but you can't talk to her
Because if you do then you let her win
We all have days where all we can think about is the bad things in life
Where all the good things cease to exist
But those are the days you see who truly cares
And who doesn't
Its a hard thing to deal with when the girl you like tells you she likes someone else
You think
What's wrong with me?
What did I do?
What did I not do?
And every day you have to go to class
She acts the same as she always did
But you can't because you know she doesn't feel the same way you do
But there's nothing you can do about it
Because all people care about these days is what's on the outside
When all that really matters is what's on the inside
