(I don't really title my poems that much)
The world burns.
It aches with the pain and suffering
 of those who walk
 and roam this earth.

 Their cries reach the clouds,
 burdened with the lives
 of the creatures below.

 Full of sorrow and doubt,
 the skies pour down,
 the people are cleansed.

 Exhaustion leaks from their cores,
 filling the air
 with a heavy buzz.
 The musty wind chokes
 the dreams of those awake.

 The sun bursts forth,
 clearing the fear.
 Another day, another moment.
 Another life.
