The lights flash,
bells and whistles chime,
cheers are heard all around.

Beep. Beep. Beep.
Rapidly pushing buttons.
Faster, Faster.

Maze like movements,
timing is the key.
Up… Left…sudden Right… now Up again.

“Die you fiendish Ghost thingies!
Die!”

The score increases,
the prize is near.
Ping!
Victory is yours,
as is A New High Score.

The author's comments:
We had to write a poem about what we pictured whebn listening to a song. The song, "2001" by Phish. I pictured an arcade, mostly a pacman game, And Thus this poem was born.
