In a million years
the firghting wont end
same old story
dont have to pretend
watch the world slowly die
off to war!
you cant deny
so many lives lost
but why cant they see
fighting and violence
would never succeed
bodies perishing
forever more
watch the bones
wash up on shore
no matter what you do
or what you say
the war will continue
until we've all
faded away

The author's comments:
I got inspired to write this piece because while learning about war in history, I think about how war has never really ended. I hope people would get that violence is not the way to handle things.

I thought this poem was okay. I agree with what you're saying and you have a powerful point, but I felt like there wasn't really anything original about it. Maybe try to expand on it and make it longer, or tell about wars from different viewpoints?

(also, this is just the OCD part of me, but in the second line you spelled "fighting" wrong).
