End Of Our Dreams
End Of Our Dreams
The sky is open waiting for death, its smoky sight covering its light.
Here we disappear; both you and I.
Like two turtle doves in love,
Sorrowing through the air; no time for a prayer,
Like all our dreams…gone forever.
The metal bent like joust spears.
Screams fell like from the Boston Massacre.
The fire and brimstone rain from the wreckage.
Are bodies crumbled our shattered broken bones august the glassy pavement.
The papers text read that next day:
“Newly wedded couple beheaded in Boston crash.”
