the music moves
through me
circling me
drowning me in
sound
delicious sound
dark sound
i float away on the music
it takes me away
to another time
and another place
my imagination runs free
my soul soars
and my voice sings
i'm free here
free
as i fly away on the
beautiful strains of music
it surrounds me
caresses me
and it reminds me
that all is not lost
i have wings
made of notes
and i spread them
to glide on the stanzas
and choruses
to spirit away
to another time
another place
where all things
are made of music
