Favorite Quote:
What I am was born in me. It’s a part of who I am, who my family is, who we all are as a tribe — it’s the reason why we’re still here.
Jacob Black, "Eclipse" by Stephenie Meyer

I am waiting for his answer
I wonder if he’ll accept me
I hear his pack mates barking at each other
But all I’m doing is staring at the alpha
I want to join his pack
But, for now, I’m just a lone wolf

I’ve always pretended to be one of them
I’ve always hunted with them
I’ve shared my kill with them
I’ve always cried when a pack mate dies
Though I’m not part of their pack, yet

I’ll understand if the alpha turns me down
But I’ll tell him I’ll improve for the next time
I’ve always dreamed of being part of the pack
And I’ll do whatever it takes to become one
I hope he accepts me

The Alpha has now accepted me
And now I’m part of the pack

My English teacher was teaching my class mates about free verse poetry, and she gave us a poem format to work on. Because of my HUGE intrest on wolves, instead of following the format, I wrote my own words and mixed up the format into this poem. (When I turned it in to her, she told me that she liked it!)
