Shattered dreams
scattered across winters wind
waiting to freeze
never to begin
never to heal
just to bond to the chilling land
to be forgotten
never to be seen again

A warm spring morning
resurrects the dream
but to a lesser thing
the ice is melting
revealing a shell
one of stone and all alone
the shattered dreams
are found in here
but are crushed to dust
is what i see here

Dust and Stone
the shell will remain alone
lost and forgotten into the wind
the winter will claim again
another dream to be crushed once more
springs revival will be lesser
or nothing at all
sometimes not all can live their dream
