poetry is a diary written out loud

the days go by
am i in a dream
are women really
what they seem
they pull us in
and hold us tight
we dont refuse
it just feels right
they look of angels
and smell of flowers
what happend to men
having all the power
were pulled in by there beauty
and we listend to them
until we realize
theres more to women
no more perfect dreams
or robot girls
there not always pretty
or have perfect curls
you wake up and realize
women have flaws too
and you wish your eyes
would go back to the dream you new

this was a assignment i did for my boyfriend except he didnt use it. we had to take a peice from a poem called love song by alfred bufrock. i chose this peice " WE HAVE LINGERD IN THE CHAMBERS OF THE SEA BY SEA GIRLS WREATHED WITH SEA WEED RED AND BROWN TILL HUMAN VOICES WAKE US AND WE DROWN " we had to use the peice we chose and write a poem that relates to it. we had to modernize it.
