The house on Mill Street
with my own pink room.
Roseville apartments
with blocks in the vents.
Mom’s boyfriend’s, parents house
with the lonely basement as my room.
A Friend’s apartment
with my coat as my pillow.
The street
with nowhere to sleep.
A shelter for women and children
with labeled food that’s not mine.
Aunt Diane’s house
with them only a week.
Mom’s boyfriend’s, parents house
with them again.
Grama’s house
with the label as my own.
