Not Anymore
The more I love another
The less you love me
What happened to your desire?
Did it dry right up?
When the moonlight streaks across your face,
and the shadows and streetlights mix together, reflecting in your eyes
I desire to kiss you
But you tremble when I touch
I must be repulsive now
I must be nothing at all
Is this all because you’re in love or because I am?
Tell me, is it because I am in another’s arms or because you hold another?
Would it be like this if I hadn’t fallen in love
or would you still have found another’s heart, stolen it, and left me in the dark?
You’ve given me your response
I thought I was the one
But I have learned
I’m not worth
the pain, sadness, or silly games anymore
