Resentment
She said her soul drained as problems started to swarm
She saw the sun everyday but never felt any warmth
With little spark in her, and a Quran in her palm
An umbrella in the other, trying to weather the storm

She said her world was cruel, so cruel and uncaring
Wiped tears from her eyes and smeared her mascara
Never trusted another dude, that was her mass terror
Her pain was as easy to “Read” as “Tara”

She was beat, she was bruised, she was mentally confused
Almost took her own life, she felt she had nothing to lose
He would beat her to a pulp and there was nothing she could do
Until one day she went a fool, bought a shiny new tool

And that very same day she blew him to smithereens
Down the pipe went her life as well as most of her dreams

 Then she had to pause
 In this world of scars
 We’re all stressed with these 3 R’s
 Remorse, Regret, and Resentment
