Romans 14:8-For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

Dedicated to July 4
When a soldier is almost given up hope he sees,
The Faithful “Friend.”
It lightens his spirit and he stands strong and proud.
On the battle field he tells others to look,
At America’s Faithful “Friend.”
The soldier still fights for his country and knows his life is at stake,
But loves his country too much to quit now.
Again on the field the soldier loses hope,
When he looks at America’s “Friend” it is different.
It was falling and many other soldiers were giving up.
Quickly he sprang to his feet and stood the “Friend” again.
The soldier steps back and looks at his “Friend”.
Though torn, it stood proud waving its red white and blue.
Soldiers rose and saluted it honorably.
They gained more hope and thanked,
America’s “Friend”.

I was bored one day in study hall, around the end of school and somehow we ended up having a discussion about how awesome the fireworks were at Bragg. It made me think....the 1st fireworks, were bombs in the wars faught for our country's freedom. I was moved and decided to write something for them...for their honor...for our country. (though it's losing it's awesomeness)
