The glass
I see you through the glass, desperatly wanting to be with you. I catch your eyes from the other side, wanting the same thing as I, but we know it can never be. We walk to edge just to say goodbye, even though we never want that. I reach my hand to the glass and you the same, so close but never again, forever in our minds what was and what could have been, but for the rest of time, seperated by the glass.
