I dream of a time
When you and me free
The only thing between us
Being only me.
That time is now
You don’t even look at me
I’m a prisoner
The only thing left are the memories.
Now you’re with her
You’re only the diamond I held dear
I now see there’s only one way
All are blind to my image.
Next week or year or maybe decade
You have yours to hold now
I have mine as well
Only scars hold the past and made this future.
