Don't Judge a Book by Its Cover
One day i met a girl
a real old facebook friend
who kept a lock around her heart
until she let me in
with eyes of green
and lips of red
and hair that's always changing
blond on top and brown on bottom
this girl keeps rearranging
zips up her sweatshirt into
the rain
this girl just walks and walks
down the road sometimes so silent
but occasionally she talks
and when she opens up her mouth
she has so much to say
she's so dignified in every single way
and at first i didn't realize and i am ashamed
to think that she was something else
something arrogant and vein
i encourage to not think the same
'cuz this book has a different facade
one i hope she doesn't change.
