Twilight skies compliment
The deep saphire sea
It rests upon.
While the jewel coos,
The lazy breeze whispers
Sweet siren songs in my ear.
Intricate sandcastles
Delicately crumble
With each passing of the
Inevitable tide.
Broken shells line the shore
Waiting to be picked up
And placed in red buckets.
Slowly,
But always,
Everything dissolves
Into the coffin black night.
