Memories of the night
My memories are hidden
All I remember is the beautiful blade
He told me death was forbidden
It seemed like he wasn’t afraid

 He held me tight
 As the ambulance came
He held me throughout the night
He says he loves me just the same

Why does he still love me?
He holds me in his lap
He doesn’t see the hidden enemy
One day I will again snap

 He held me tight
 As the ambulance came
He held me throughout the night
He says he loves me just the same

 His hands graze the scars,
As I lay still in his arms as I slowly leave
They might as well put me behind bars
If I leave he will be the one to grieve

 He held me tight
 As the ambulance came
He held me throughout the night
He says he loves me just the same

Now the stain and scars are my memories
But he says I am still his one love
As I realize I need to stop these activities
He says it is me who he will always be proud of
