Race Race Racing
You come home late
And my heart is
Race race racing
Because will you stay or
Will you
Go
I don’t know
I can never tell
With you
Because sometimes you
Eat so much so much
And sometimes you eat none
And I wonder
If it’s true
When you say you
Ate at noon
Or if you just are
Not hungry too
And I can never know
If you will go
Or stay
Just till May
Another year perhaps
I can never tell
With you
Because sometimes you
Yell yell yell at
The top of your heart
Lungs
Mind
Or is any of it in the shout when you shout
At all
Because the rest you are
Quiet and
Alone and alone in your turtle shell which
Is harder than most and
I never know if you will come
Out
Please come out
And I can never know
When you will be there
To care
And wear a smile
Even though it scares me
When you do if you do
And how I know yes I know
It is fake
But I can never tell
With you
